meals he received during a 10-week stay in an NHS
hospital, and sets out to discover whether his experience
was a one-off or symptomatic of a deeper problem. He
meets young cystic fibrosis patients whose parents take
them out of hospital to local pubs and restaurants for their
meals, and talks to the relatives of elderly people who
claim their loved ones have been served substandard
food and then given no help to consume it
