Richard speaks with a paranormal researcher, author, student of eastern mysticism practiced in the art of channeling or spirit communication. Gordon Phinn is able to channel late actors Dennis Hopper and Natasha Richardson, and the late alien abduction researcher John Mack. Channeling is a form of spirit communication in which the channeler goes into a trance, or "leaves their body". He or she becomes "possessed" by a specific spirit who then talks through them.
