Talk about survival. These days you need to have redundancy i.e. backup systems in all aspects of your life. Expect one system to fail and have a backup system ready even before the primary system fails. Expect the power grid to fail, expect the water supply system to fail, expect the net to fail, expect your bank to fail, and so on.
