Book of Revelations resource pack

A lot of members, not to mention cults themselves -- *cough*david*coughcough*koresh -- get hung up on the Book of Revelations.

In the interest of de-mystifying some of it (if that's even possible given all the drama that surrounds it), here are resources that should prove helpful, and I wish someone had shared with me long ago:

• Revelations in Plain English (just read the non-italicized parts) by Book Cap Study Guides
• Comprehensive history of how this book influenced Western civilization by Jonathan Kirsch
• Part 6 of the TTC course on the "Apocalypse, Controversies and Meaning in Western History", which if you read the corresponding chapters in the Plain English version, should make a whole more sense.
