THE BOOK IS DEAD,
LONG LIVE THE BOOK.
The Book Makers is a 1-hour documentary that pulls back the curtain on the people who are keeping books alive in the 21st century.
THE BOOK MAKERS profiles an eclectic group of people who have dedicated their lives to answering the question: what should books become in the digital age? From the esoteric world of book artists to the digital libraries of the Internet Archive, the film spins a tale of the enduring vitality of the book. This engaging documentary captures the painstaking but pleasurable process of creating hand-crafted books, in a diverse range of styles and mediums. The film travels from New York to Germany’s Black Forest, culminating at the Codex Book Fair in San Francisco, where the cast of characters congregates to sell their books to collectors from universities and the Library of Congress, and to curious buyers from around the world. Along the way, THE BOOK MAKERS highlights the talent, dedication and skill of these book artists, and reframes the concept and purpose of the book itself.

Yes, my favorite private
Yes, my favorite private movie tracker is back online after 3 months being off for technical difficulties.
This is pretty good, it's not what I thought it would be, as it's mostly about specialty books that are made in shops and by hand, but it's still rather interesting (and I haven't finished it yet).
Whhoooa - fast response.!

Either you're up late or I'm in need of breakfast... :-p
See follow-up post...
I just had breakfast (9:30am
I just had breakfast (9:30am here), but for me it was also considered dinner, as I actually work night shift, so my hours are all wonky.
Yes, my seedbox is 2TB and unlimited bandwidth for public and private trackers. Some people get even more space, like 4TB, but I think 2 is good enough for me. I am only 50% full right now anyways. But I usually go for the 1080 x264 rips, if there is high quality photography etc, otherwise smaller sizes are sufficient. But it's always good to have back-ups of data on a hard-drive, because seedboxes can crash from time to time as well...
I know nibs/ConCen moved all of the old torrents from the original tracker onto this newer one, so in the search entire site function you might be able to find old and rare stuff - but it will likely be unseeded, unfortunately.
You must have a HUGE SSD
You must have a HUGE SSD though Mr Corsair - because your uploads are always in several GB's size...
Weirdly - I was just chatting to a guy who has written a lot on JFK and has a regular radio show/slot - Donald Jefferies... he has a show called:
I PROTEST - or used to.
Great guy - I like his approach... like me old liberal but updated their outlook after the bizarre shifts in culture we saw around/after BLM etc era.
Anyway - I was telling him that I was the first to upload a short clip to the VERY new concen tracker - called: JFK SECRET SERVICE STAND-DOWN - :-0
Donald even knew of the main SS agent who threw his hands in the air - just as was shown on the clip. But we were laughing about just how limited at that time the web was for files over say 50MB - ?! they were seen as HUGE and even in 2005 Youtube started their upload limited for a max 5 or 10 min long file...
I'd LOVE to search for that clip again - i guess by now it's all over video streaming channels - but I think this tracker has had several crashes and losses since 2003/4/5 era - so it's probably not seekable - even for nostalgia's sake :-P

JFK Secret Service Stand Down + Lie Exposed
The following video claims to "debunk" the stand down. The comments are informative.
No Wayy!! :-o

I can't believe you found it - ?
I tried to search for it to send to Donald as he'd ONLY seen a STILL image of the Secret Service being shoe'd away from defending JFK's limo that fateful day...
I'm sure I was first to upload it anywhere on the web - I got it off VHS on an imported tape I had sent to England via the US - either a dude called Bo GRIGGS or William COOPER... i forget where i saw it advertised.
I can easily demonstrate [including the fact you found that clip so fast] that my main youtube account is shadow banned and fuct with - I can never find even my own uploads via a search when other can. This all happened when I posted a bit too much on Facebook several years back - someone hated covering the Alec newald and marconi case... and a few other events locally i wont bore anyone with.

Youtube shadow bans comments
Youtube shadow bans comments for sure. You can easily tell when you click on the "6 replies" button and only get 4. Google definitely fucks with their search results ranking. To be expected when the whole operation was spook funded from the beginning...
I'm very appreciative that
I'm very appreciative that you understand that this INSIDIOUS process is a reality...
You'd be amazed how many ppl think you're a crank or a digital narcissist for even considering it... 🙄🙄
What's hilarious is one of my account linked videos has 750,000 views so you'd logically assume other videos on same channel would get bleed over interest and reflect those figures a little?!?
Nope - instead I have uploads from om same era that have a few hundred views only !!?! 🤐🙄😮
