BBC Horizon: Archimedes' Secret (2002)

Since we have recently found out just how amazingly advanced some of my ancestors were, in building the Antikithera mechanism/computer, i thought it would be appropriate to ul this doc. regarding the man himself, Archimedes. The doc. reveals just how much of a true genius he was.

This doc. looks at probably the most important book ever discovered. it sold at auction for the highest price, to an anonymous buyer. and just like for the Antikithera mechanism, a team was formed to study the book. The findings have astounded mathematicians and archaeologists.

It is also a shame that after the Romans killed Archimedes, religion took its hold (over maths and logic), and regressed us into what is now known as the 'dark ages', for a very long period.

It was not until the ancient Greek books were discovered, (ironically by Rome/the vatican), that people learnt how to think more logically, and religion and the dark ages began to loose their hold (as detailed in the docs 'The Day the Universe changed' by Mr James Burke).

Maybe, at some time in the future, some of the awake people of that time, will look back and see how dumbed down we have become, as a result of the influences on our educational system and from the Jewish controlled/influenced media and politicians (unless they manage to alter the history books/records, and they are doing a great job of it so far. For Example - 911, WMD, OBL, Holocaust, USS Liberty, Princes Dianna,..............)
