Asimov's Guide to the Bible audiobook

This is an audiobook version of Isaac Asimov's Guide to the Bible. Note this is a special books-on-tape reading under a books for the blind program and was originally on several cassette tapes. The sound quality is warbling and variable, and the reader tends to read everything, including punctuation marks. There is an extensive description in the .NFO file included. As a set of extras, several PDF versions of books by somewhat lesser-known religious scholars are included. These are the following titles by atheist doctor of divinity and H P Lovecraft scholar Robert M. Price (I love this guy) and an offering by "Simon," the pseudonym of Peter Levenda, author, talkshow guest, OTO member and priest in some schismatic sect of the Czech and Slovak Orthodox Church in North America. Reviews of Levenda's book credit it with the usual and characteristic shoddy scholarship, innuendo and intrigue which are the hallmarks of his work, but however poorly he does his research, Levenda's books are almost always interesting. This time he sets out to talk about magic and the occult in the Vatican, but winds up talking about the P-2 lodge, freemasonry and the Vatican Bank instead, according to reviews.
