Alex talks with Swedish filmmaker Fredrik Gertten. Gertten's documentary, BANANAS!*, covers a lawsuit by twelve Nicaraguan banana plantation workers who are suing Dole for concealing the dangers of a pesticide that they claim made them sterile. Dole attempted to prevent the film from screening at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June. Alex also talks with "Chris," the man who carried an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle to an Obama event in Phoenix, Arizona, on Monday. Arizona has an open carry law. The corporate media has spent the last several days attempting to demonize the man and the Second Amendment. Alex also covers the latest news and takes your calls.
