The result of the reformation today is that they made an entire movie about it and did not mention the most important fact - the reason why 20% of Europe died in the wars between protestants and catholics - Revelation 17 which exposed the Vatican as an imperialist machine of propaganda and empire which has nothing to do with God, Christ, the Church, and the Truth! Greed is the handmaiden of power, that is true. But Revelation was written well before the Vatican ever existed. So unless you mean "Vatican = power more generally" (ie, Rome, as John knew it from his learned, lonely tower on Patmos), it is hard to take that statement seriously. Revelations is the opiate of the confused.

1. Revelation is not given by John. Its given TO John BY Christ.
2. I mean exactly THE VATICAN. Of which by PROPHECY Christ warned. Also:
Ephesians 6:12 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. - is again a prophecy in which Christ was referring to the Vatican.
3. These things were clearly understood by the protestants. This is the truth that was wiped out by the Vatican lead French and American revolutions.
4. Revelation gives you the whole deal. But there are no un-confused to understand it. Because you do not study religion and even if you do you do not do it with faith. And nothing will be revealed to you.
