Weird issue, on AT&T Fiber now torrents appear blocked?

Anyone aware of new torrent blocking technology being deployed? I'm at a new location less than 6 months, when I first got here I tried torrenting and found it to be incredibly fast.

Tried to download some files from concen this weekend and the torrents either move to "Failed to start", sit spinning with 0 peers forever, and very rarely one will start and pick up an incredibly slow pace. I went to the Pirate Bay and grabbed the top ten spots with thousands of seeders to verify and none would start, left them spinning overnight and Tomorrow War downloaded but none of the other top ten did (crap movie don't waste your time lol)

I'm thinking I need to torrent from one of my linux servers. Anyone knows a good client for Ubuntu (CLI no GUI)?

ConCen
rtorrent

It uses ncurses, but works well.

What happens when you "telnet concen.org 6969" from a shell? Also "traceroute concen.org"

Need to install/build telnet for Mac lol - tracert good

I just grabbed the most recent 5 torrents, started them. Data started downloading for several torrents, made it up to several hundred kb/sec before falling to zero. Two of five moved into "failed" status - this torrent.

It feels like upstream throttling. Comcast did this crap to me some years ago, also another smaller ISP I had back in the days of DSL.

Here's a log file from my torrent client:

ConCen
Permission denied

That looks like a file/directory permissions issue.

Always

Use a vpn or seedbox, never torrent over your home connection.

In the U.K. your ISP will literally send you a list of what you’ve been torrenting.
