New experimental film by Peter Joseph, creator founder of the Zeitgeist sustainability movement...
About: https://www.interreflectionsmovie.com/about

InterReflections, the first of a trilogy, is an experimental, social commentary film. Structurally, the work is mixed-genre, combining three mutual timelines, with aspects of documentary, horror, science fiction satire and more. Inspired by the avant-garde tradition of impressionistic abstraction, challenging convention, the 2 hr and 45 min work is grounded in a distinct sociological perspective surrounding the subject of public health and human well-being.

Based upon the writer/director’s best-selling 2017 book The New Human Rights Movement, InterReflections is a fantasy that extends the book’s academic content into a more creative form.
Each of the three timeline layers serve a content and aesthetic function.

The first, set in contemporary times, is a silent film style journey following our female lead as she experiences the darkness of the modern day. After being fired from her job, she awakens into a new day in New York City, setting about finding another. Her journey transforms her, resolving her identity at the end when all three of the timeline characters come together.

The second timeline is set 40 years in the future when, as predicted by many scientists today, the ecological, climate and social crisis of inequality has reach critical territory. In this central timeline, our satirical protagonist, John Taylor, leader of a pro revolution counter culture group named Concordia, is captured by the Global Security Agency (GSA), leading to a debate with his old colleague and nemesis, Simon Devoe. As head of the GSA, Simon encourages John to join his team in order to avoid legal punishment for his “terrorist” actions.

Timeline three takes place 100 year from now, featuring four academics of this future talking about the way things used to be in the early 21st century (today). This layer is the most liberal of executions in regard to the film’s relationship to the book and serves not only a structural and style role but as the educational basis of the work by which the other timelines relate.

Overall, stripped of artistic specifics, the work is classic edutainment; a kind of abstract “PBS special” working to express contemporary social issues in an unorthodox way.

Just finished watching this! completely nailed all the insanity currently going on in the world today.
very powerful message. Makes the Zeitgeist movement look like grade-school and high-school, with this gradulate level system-level analysis of the problem (no conspiracy, just truth).

begins with Bucky Fuller introduction and ends with a very powerful example for hope of fulfilling Bucky's revolution of design winning the war in the end. VERY powerful
"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete." - Bucky Fuller - https://www.azquotes.com/quote/347381

It is now highly feasible to take care of everybody on Earth at a 'higher standard of living than any have ever known.' It no longer has to be you or me. Selfishness is unnecessary and henceforth unrationalizable as mandated by survival.
"Think of it. We are blessed with technology that would be indescribable to our forefathers. We have the wherewithal, the know-it-all to feed everybody, clothe everybody, and give every human on Earth a chance. We know now what we could never have known before - that we now have the option for all humanity to make it successfully on this planet in this lifetime. Whether it is to be Utopia or Oblivion will be a touch-and-go relay race right up to the final moment." - R. Buckminster Fuller

Zeitgeist was briliant, epic, genre-defying and genre-defining.

This was just kinda weird, I thought. The language of the future bits just confused me. Got less than halfway through it.

its worth it to see the "ending". Don't give up if you have ADD or low-attention spans... skip to the ending instead. Its the hope of fullfilling bucky's vision of the only successful revolution that will EVER win -- better design to build the alternative.

that link didn't bring up any "old discussion" btw.
The relevant questions weren't asked: Here is a book on how to Ask the RELEVANT questions:

Conspiracy is only useful if one is brining criminal charges, but in the realm of ideas in economics (specifically scarcity vs renewable models) then nobody "debunked" Peter J. Who is concerned about the cult of a personality, rather than the ideas? Isn't that the lowest of logical fallacies?
This is like trying to have a discussion with people trying to save the world from scarcity based economic beliefs and victimhood-thinking, while some yahoo wants to steal the floor whining about non-issues that have nothing to do with the subject matter.

I pulled up 17 threads on the old forum.

How is this not a push for Communism / Technocracy repackaged as his Structuralism, which is Communism / Technocracy but with more a swerve to a localized bottom up installation of an IoT model and real time digital feedback on everything and everyone? Post scarcity is always the selling point but that never happens in actual practice. It is centralized control via nodal local networks. Who watches the watchers, in this case AI?

This plays right into The Great Ra|Set. Own Nothing, Be Happy.

True stripes out of his own mouth without all the shiny packaging of the alt movie. You've read his 2017 book right? Same formula, mention a foray of real and fake problems (he's big on CO2 being a doom poison) we all agree on then pitch the idea for his system. I'm all for optimization but this is control.

I only attack the ideas he puts forth and gee the fact that he's a Freemason might be a red flag for some here to not swallow this systemic overhaul wholesale.

Here's an alternative addressing the real root issue of his economic solution of manufactured scarcity in the big cult of Mon|EYe as it exists as the central currency for markets, which PJ doesn't address except to be rid of them both:

RIP to his old partner in ZG - Jacques Fresco - he had some cool practical tech ideas.
