Wow, from 11 gigabytes down to 1. That is impressive! I usually go for 1080 HD rips, but I guess x265 smaller rips cater to people trying to preserve their hard-drive space.

like i made a hundred hours long audacity file maybe even longer but it turned out really really big, too big because i set it to ogg 320 to upscale or something

VBR 1 = worst, but usually still fine for speech.

i found an automagic script to extract audio from video files, i needed that and it does all in batch, too
only one more thing now, to have it be recursive
