As Justin emerges bearded like some Islamic anarchist probably holding a bomb behind his back and takes the fifth before the American media gods, black supremacists in Seattle have hijacked the Comet Tavern in an ill-advised attempt to create a new country, if only in name, if only to gain Nike and Starbucks sponsorship. Note the white AND black guilt at work: they keep appealing to some Salish nation, Salish sea, some lost people on whose stolen land they have constructed another statist project.

But there is context, no matter how crack-headed and just crazy they look. This is Hakim Bey (Peter Lamborn's Islamic name) and his TAZ, temporary autonomous zone, a sort of bastard statist concept which says the state MIGHT be OK so long as it doesn't last very long and doesn't take itself too seriously, and Strauss's classic How to Start Your Own Country from ye olde Loompanics once upon a time. Added is the Nomadology text so inspiring to Seattle's coffee-house and champagne anarchists. Enjoy.

thanks! Hakim Bey is interesting. I will share the rest of his collection in due course. Cheers, brother
Nice to see a new sharer here (new to me, anyway)

Is it seeding OK? I did it a few hours ago, ratio is still at zero. Old sharer btw, not important.

not started seeding yet.
(and yay to old sharers :)

I turned on uTp and it seemed to seed to at least two "peers" so keep trying. I think it should be seeding OK now, but keep reporting if it's not coming.

try setting it to "superseed" that will help

No such function on older client, but I think it's working now. I show 8.5 downloads in total from me, and the site says it's a lot higher. Just in the interest of full disclosure, the Comet Tavern is now outside the "official" border. Party time.
