If you do speak Russian, perhaps you'd find it interesting to help translate this so the rest of us can enjoy it.

Turns out the subtitle stream was just parts of the DVD menu navigation.

I don't know who ripped these, but they are terrible compared to the DVD. it will take a few days but I can come up with something better.

I bet the .VOB files came from TheOccult! Another great resource.

I guess those files also have English subtitles as well.

Weirdly, I didn't think to check any private sites.

I found the Bulgarian subs by googling for the Russian filenames of the mkv. If English subs exist anywhere they are well hidden.

That's how I found the VOBs too, just googling for Russian keywords from the filenames with VIDEO_TS etc.

try duckduckgo it may yield results that won't show in google

Thanks, I did, not much came up. Sadly the chap who translated the Bulgarian didn't reply yet either.

I just want to see the episode 4 you mentioned that talks about the pyramids.
