P2P Sites Under Attack

I know the threads here don't get much activity but I'm a little surprised no mention at all about major torrent sites being taken down recently.

Now they are talking about our OS themselves blocking P2P file sharing:

Some say stick with Windows 7. I'm on Windows 8.1...when the private sector is 100+ years ahead of us technology wise, does it really matter if you're running Windows 7 as opposed to Windows 10!?

To add to this...

To add to this...

Wikileaks put out a new "insurance" file in torrent form. Shortly after we have major torrent sites being taken down.

Coincidence? They best give us the pass key to this one.

This seems to be less about "piracy" and more about controlling American politics with the added benefit of restricting the free flow of information.

hmmmmmm

then steam, origin, World of Warcraft and a whole host of other "legitimate" uses of the bit torrent protocol best find a new means of updating eh?
