It looks like Part 5 has 3 volumes, and maybe one other is like that as well. I assume that all of those books had to be scanned manually and OCR'ed etc. The people that do own part 6 probably don't feel like doing that! lol
the 2 private book sites that have the 1 copy for sale seem to be the originals

Abebooks is involved, so at least your information would be safe if you buy from them. However I'm not sure how good the customer support of Abebooks is as I never bought anything from them. I don't live in America so I cannot risk it by buying if something goes wrong tbh. The seller does seem legitimate though, Join date back in 2000 and 5 stars... but idk. your call.

my buddy was subbed to the trufax.org stuff for a long time, he said it was awesome, but I'm not sure how active/relative the site is now, I have scanned it periodically, it seems defunct now

It is only a matter of time now, month or two tops and I am going to pull the trigger on one of the two copies

I think some ebook trackers like MyAnonomouse.net probably have tutorials on scanning books. I guess the first prerequisite is having a scanner. I tried scanning a book back in 2004. I was only semi-successful. It was that DMT: The Spirit Molecule book. I got all the JPG images in order, but I didn't know how to do the OCR process of plucking only the text off the image and shrinking the size of the document down etc. I can invite you to MyAnonomouse.net if you are not already on there, and you might be able to find the tutorials there. I have totally lost the ability to do anything like that now - I am primarily only an audiobook kind of guy now!

There's this website called 1dollarscan.com they professionally scan books.
They're comfy to use when I buy from American Amazon. (I don't live in America). So I directly send the book to them and they scan them & send me the pdf.
The downside that they'll destroy the book. (They remove the spine of the book) and eventually use the paper for recycling.

You can use a smartphone, like Microsoft Lens - PDF Scanner (On Android) for instance. It uses AI to adjust the paper and make it look decent.
Another is to go to a library and scan the book using a scanner.
