I've had a root canal and will have to consider whether it has affected my health. I've felt uncomfortable with dentists who seem more interested creating repeat customers than helping; it's partly systemic. I refused a scheduled x-ray of my mouth which supposedly is "illegal"... dumb shit. They still charged me for it lol. As usual, disciplines developed during industrial revolution era are far too focused on mechanistic aspects to the detriment of the rest.
