Anthrax is a rare disease caused by naturally occurring bacteria which can form spores that are fatal to humans and animals. During the Second World War, government scientists from Porton Down attempted to weaponise anthrax, creating a deadly strain that they then tested on Gruinard Island, an uninhabited remote site off the coast of Scotland.
This proved disastrous for Gruinard and, from 1942 onwards, people were forbidden from setting foot on the island. Signs were erected on the shore and the adjacent mainland, and Gruinard was dubbed The Island of Death or Anthrax Island.
This documentary reveals an extraordinary Scottish story from 1981, when a shadowy group called the Dark Harvest Commandos claimed to have landed on the island and removed 300lbs worth of infected soil. They wrote a dramatic letter explaining and justifying their actions, which was sent to various newspapers and the BBC. In the letter, they explained their campaign to clean up Gruinard had begun with a package of island soil dumped outside Porton Down. Nobody knew who they were or if they were serious.

what I can this this gets a wee bit out of touch.. busby and dinsmore were thrown out of Siol Nan Gaidheal due to their suspected connections to MI5.
It was always the case that dinsmore and busby pulled their shit just before elections and tried more of an IRA style approach which then kinda changed from real incidents to threatening ones such as phoning the police and stating bomb at x place will go off at X time". there was no bomb . the point of it was to shut, for example, Princes street area of edinburgh down which in knock on costs would cost a fucking fortune both to the police and to businesses due to shutting down practically the whole city centre.

The SNP lost a LOT of member to the Alba party due to this. this unfortunately splits the nationalist vote and thus makes the pro-independence vote vulnerable to labour encroachment at the next general election and the Scottish election.
To me, to be honest, the SNP only ever got my vote as i believe independence to be the right thing for Scotland and theyw ere an avenue to that. Now i consider them a bit of a fucking liability to that cause.
If/When independence happens the SNP wouldn't last long as a party i think. they are a "broad church" and have left, center and right people only in the same party as theend goal is independence.
But i think post independence it would wither away as people would then join the parties that they are mpre naturally aligned to.
AS for the trans person in question going to jail... that one is going to a men's jail as he shoudl be. in his case he's deffo fucking at it and absolutely presents a danger to actual females in custody with him.

I asked that of someone who obviously has a decent mind - cos you're on this forum/site - as I always saw myself moving maybe over the border to escape the spreading vanity-insanity that's been infecting fair England....
I've actually lived - a while in Edinburgh but mostly above a tiny post office in Leith [looking back that flat above was sooo easy to break into via the cheap floorboards - easy £23,000 plus we'd worked out] in the late 1990s and i loved the region and ppl.
But looking at the state of things now - i'm not so sure...
