ConCen will be gone very soon if this continues. The timing couldn't be worse.

I know that the last few months have been hard on everybody:
The strict passwords and the session timeouts were a pain. They're now gone. Sessions don't time out any more.
You no longer need to include punctuation in your passwords (but do it anyway, just to screw them up!).
The force over to https was alarming to some (the http home page didn't help). That has been fixed.

Because of the Drupal learning curve, getting the site to handle torrents in a sensible way has been slow because I decided to do it as a module. This means that everything you see on this site dealing with torrents can be installed onto any other Drupal 7 site in seconds by anyone who installs my torrent module.

The Drupal part I'm building now will enable bulk import of torrent files into the database, optionally pulling in the title and descriptions from another database (in our case TorrentTrader).

Once that's done I can import all 40,000 ConCen torrents. Anyone else using the module can import all of their torrents too.

So you see what's at stake here. Now is not the time to see ConCen disappear from lack of funds.

Comments are welcome. I'm so buried in the back end of ConCen most of the time that I don't see the forest some times. You need to help me out with that...

I understand PayPal is out of the question. What about BPAY or direct credit into the bank account ? Otherwise us overseasers can only get our bank to

How much do guys spend? What's your monthly cost? The site is down for months, comes back online with a subpar website and then "comes across" as a threat for money. WE WILL BE SHUTDOWN IF WE DON'T GET MONEY. That's how it comes across. Why not describe the situation? How much do you need? No, the first line is, concen is done if we don't get money. This might be the case, but could have been stated better.

Throughout the years, concen has received more donations than other such sites. Like thousands of dollars, which includes Yeti's money bomb. I know conspiracyhub.com runs on about $15 dollars a month, it just seems like this site is always hurting for money.

um.. it wasn't down for months... that's plain ,unfettered,unfiltered bullshit right there.
it's not a threat.. it's a plea for funds to help keep the site alive... it's a community we all get something from so every now and then we should try to help out.. that's fair isn't it? even with the site itself offline the server was still up and running and had to be paid for...
Also this bollocks with "sub par website".. in case you hadn't noticed... no... let me correct that... what you deliberately fail to recall is that this site is a work in progress and the plans seem very groovy indeed... i can't wait to be honest. I am sure mucho funkyness will ensue.
I'll be donating a week today and will be contacting a staffer for a means for me to do so discreetly.
Bob.. you sound butt-hurt about something and there's more than a smidge of lingering grudge....

both questions are a bit dumb in my opinion
we would be donating to concen to keep it alive.
and how can it go back to how it when that software was proven to be vulnerable??
From what i gather and from what has been said Cpncen will grow and expand its offerings as time goes on and new the addons coded.
The old site will be preserved and put into some sort of searchable archive as it'd be a shame to let all those posts and info to waste.

ConCen is accessible only via HTTPS. Nevermind, I don't know mucha about web protocol. Was thinking I could type www.concen.org and get the site.

Yes but a redirect from HTTP sends cookies unencrypted. That is why you need to click the link manually.

That's the way the site is being built.

As for $ from the yeti bomb ~18 months ago it was well spent on building a computer system to build a new ConCen as advertised.

Any PayPal payment originating from concen.org is automatically flagged. The account will be frozen instantly according to what I've read.
