‘Since Jesus is our king, why then should we obey earthly rulers and authorities that have no regard for the kingdom of God?

We’re called to live in two kingdoms: the kingdom of God and the kingdom of man. Christians must first and foremost give full, unconditional allegiance to king Jesus, yet we’re also commanded by our king to obey earthly authorities. How do we live out this dual citizenship? Do we unconditionally obey earthly governments in obedience to God. In what conditions if any do we disobey our earthly governments? Today, Dr. Sproul will talk about the role of government in the world and how the Christian is to live with attention of two kingdoms.’
