Hauntings & Dark Forces
Author, lecturer, and vampire Michelle Belanger discussed her most recent work with hauntings, as well as the realm of spirits and dark forces. She also spoke about her life as a psychic vampire, and the vampire community in general. Many people experiment with the Ouija Board but often conjure up negative entities because they are seeking to be scared, she noted. Concerning such encounters, she cited the old axiom "do not call up that which you can't put down," and said people should know how to protect themselves, as well as be able to "close the door" on spirits they want to leave. This can be done through mental intent, such as visualizing the sealing of a door, she explained. Ghost hunters should also protect themselves and be aware that spirits can sometimes follow them home, she added.
It can be presumptuous to tell an earthbound spirit to move into the light-- they sometimes benefit from a therapeutic conversation helping them to let go of whatever it is that is holding them here, she detailed. Belanger related her curious experiences with a "ghost in a box," -- a box that contained the cremated human remains of a woman named Jean whose spirit was "binded" into the box. She received communications from the cranky spirit, and has used the box as a way to test mediums and psychics on their skill.
Belanger related an eerie encounter at 'White Thorn Woods' in Ohio, in which there was a strange stillness, then a sudden swarm of black birds that swooped onto a roof and silently stared at her group. She described her process as a psychic vampire and how she takes excess energy from a consensual partner. The vampire community in America numbers in the tens of thousands, and includes people such as herself, as well as those who drink blood, she reported.

Alien Encounters
First hour guest, author Whitley Strieber reacted to Brother Dimond's assertions (from the 5/25 show) that UFOs are demonic in nature. While he acknowledged there can be a darker side to "visitor" encounters, he characterized the alien beings as complex in nature. And we can't presume to know what's out there in our extremely vast universe, he added.
