Title: Ancient Mysteries: Dragons: Myths & Legends (2005) [DVD]
Official Description: It's widely accepted that dragons are the stuff of myth. But if that's true, what explains the famous "dragon" sightings throughout history by prominent figures such as adventurer Marco Polo? Turning to art and ancient writings, this intriguing installment of A&E's "Ancient Mysteries" series examines evidence for and against the existence of genuine dragons -- which may have been beasts that are now quite familiar.
Run Time: 43 Minutes.
Personal Thoughts: This was quite an enjoyable video which gives some of the mainstream and more commonly known evidence for the existence of real dragons in ancient times. With this in mind, be prepared for a couple of wacko Freudian types thrown into the mix to make sure and discredit the whole thing just in case some people out there might just be about to believe that dragons actually existed way back when. You also have to keep in mind that this series was done by A&E and so it is totally mainstream and so of course they have to make somewhat of an effort to discredit the whole thing in order to follow the orders of their corporate masters.
There are many videos out there that give much more compelling and less known evidence than this documentary does but I thought I would upload this one just because, to the best of my knowledge, this one hasn’t been uploaded here before and so I uploaded it for the sake of completeness. That and the fact that it was narrated by none other than Leonard Nimoy himself! How cool is that? Enjoy! :)
