This all way too much to believe, as everything in Fig. 7 is a contradiction. Dust accumulating beside an area where there isn't a trace of it. Disturbed dust partially cleaned off, etc Blue arrow shows a fitting that has angled surfaces, which also have dust accumulated on them. Yet the area right above it (yellow arrow) is mostly free of dust?

The Spirit rover began operation almost 4 years ago. Fig. 6 shows the amazing self-cleaning solar panels. NASA claimed back in 2004 rover solar panels would be completely covered in dust such that within 4 months after the start of the mission. At that point, neither rover can charge their batteries and the missions would end. This was supposedly based on known dust deposition measurements made by Viking and other spacecraft that landed on Mars. But since the rovers landed, both have been miraculously cleaned off. And NASA itself has stated just when it looks like it's over from dust accumulation, something cleans off the solar panels.

Does NASA really think the entire public is stupid???
