Why so much CBC?

Can't help but notice there is a lot of CBC material. Passionate Eye, Nature of Things, The National, etc.

Not sure how shows (or the news) from Canada's national broadcaster counts as concen material. It's easily accessible. Its appearance on mainstream TV suggests that it does not represent controversial or hidden knowledge.

Same thing (I think) goes for Tucker Carlson stuff - isn't that a mainstream Fox show, viewed by millions?

With such materials easily available from other sources, why is it reproduced here?

It seems to me the site would be far less cluttered and more focused without it.

Thankfully you have dual filters in place so one can use 'Title does not contain' a couple of times to weed out some of it.

Just my two cents...

I agree.

I agree.

maybe.......

you could upload alternatives.

keep CBC coming

As an Canadian living abroad I was ELATED to find this place that shares CBC material which I can watch at my leisure. I donated money to the owner specifically because I was happy with the service he is providing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, bro. If you are so concerned about clutter then I could suggest a CBC corner for the stuff but don't just axe it because you don't like the look of it? There's more to this world than your eye looking for pretty patterns, my friend....

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad that you appreciate the work of the uploaders.

On behalf of ConCen users, I thank you!

If it's not fiction and not software, music, sports, etc. then it's ConCen material. That's been the rule for well over a decade.

Not if you're not in Canada. cbc.ca has a geolocation block. Other torrents sites may have CBC stuff, but that has never been a reason not to have it here.

See first point. It was determined well over a decade ago that it is impossible to objectively categorize what is or is not controversial or hidden knowledge.

See first point. Nobody is forcing you to download Carlson. The rights of the few who do download it outweigh your desire to censor.

Carlson and The National are uploaded weekdays by bots which took days of coding to get right. Those bots will not be retired. You are cordially invited to write your own bots that upload what you prefer, or even upload manually.

Is it reasonable to ensure that every upload must be exclusive to ConCen? Is it even possible?

Could you please explain why we should label torrents that you don't want here as clutter?

I find it puzzling that you feel you have a right to question what material is posted here when you have not bothered to post a single torrent yourself.

My mistake. I was still under

My mistake. I was still under the impression that this was 'conspiracy central'. For the longest time, most of the material here seemed to fall into the 'controversial' and or 'hidden knowledge' (at least traditionally hidden) category. Didn't realize the site had had deliberately morphed into more of a catch-all, and the tv redistribution thing was particularly puzzling. Regardless, have now uploaded and am seeding Adam McLean's Hermetic Journal, and will look for more material of a similar nature to post.

ConCen
ConCen has been a non-fiction site since 2008

It's not a catch-all. It's been a non-fiction site since 2008. The people moderate it decided that because everyone has a different opinion of what is conspiracy material, it was impossible to evaluate uploads unless we went with an easy to enforce non-fiction rule. This way people can decide on their own what is worth their time. Additionally, there are quite a few books, magazines, and documentaries released by the MSM that are well worth watching.

Perfect! This site is what the members make of it. On behalf of them, we thank you for your uploads. Please keep them coming!
