Attn ConCen researchers: an older brain really may be a wiser brain
According to a recent study, an older brain really may be a wiser brain.

That might explain why I don't get nearly as caught up in the minutiae of conspiracies as some of you younger whippersnappers around here...

I think it's ironic that so much conventional wisdom has been thrown out the window until a modern study validates it for our rationalistic axiomatic perspectives. Oh and Yeti, monkeys are more evolved beings... they don't wreck the havoc their own species as us humans do... so you by default are wiser .

yes the older researchers are looking at that study and picking holes in it just the same as the younguns:)

Age and knowledge.

To be old is to lack the intelligence you needed as a child. As you have accumulated all that knowledge there is less and less need for its use.

To be young is to know nothing but have the interest to learn and evolve older ideas to something they consider more palatable.

I think the 20 - 25 year olds fall into the middle category here. hence the suicidal tendencies. To "be wise" in this age is to lose your mind and not want to find it.
