Microsoft Dirty Tricks? 'Security Update' plugs up Internet - Solution Get Vista
I personally am witness to some strange happenings on my computer - namely my Mozilla Firefox was VERY SLOW, AND HANGING OFTEN. Its not that my computer is fast, its VERY FAST with 4GB of Ram, a Quad Core Phenon 9600 Processor, ad infinitum.

Strangely and magically when I unstalled the latest security patches from 'Microzoft' all of a sudden the machine speed up incredibly - and my Mozilla is working well again... Lets get realistic here - Windows XP has been out for several years now, and they are still releasing 'patches' for it. Strangely I also noticed that my Mozilla Firefox would hang, but my Internet Explorer would still work. I would physically throw the computer into the garbage before I would use Internet Explorer - PERIOD.

Vista is a crime against humanity all you need to read is found at http://www.badvista.org/ and now I am wondering if they are 'encouraging' transition over to Vista by 'crippling' XP with 'security patches.'

Anyone noticing anything similar?

Microsoft has been purposely crippling other software in order to favour their shit software for at least 20 years.

Google "DOS 4.0", "lotus 123", and a book called "undocumented DOS", which came out in 1987 or so...

Do your soul a favour and install linux. What the hell are you waiting for?

I use WUBI to install Ubuntu under XP. I really don't like partitioning my HDD, it just adds some headaches for me. Unfortunately, I need Windows for a lot of the things I use. I'm thinking of installing Ubuntu as my main OS and using VirtualBox for Vista.

youre all nuts. Vista is king. Vista has a 3d interface that will let you browse through, black screen, blue screens, red screen, error messages and security pop ups on the fly, and did i meantion that in full 3d? It has nearly the same stability as my enchanced version of Workbench 3.0 and nearly the same usability and it only takes up 15 gigabytes to do so, compared to the workbenches measly 50megabytes....pfff...then there is the ram issue. XP required 256MB to run (and workbench 1 megabyte of fast chip mem if you want all the graphical goodies) wheres Vista Requires 2 gigabytes to merely crawl. Obviously 2 gigabytes is more, therefor better, so here vista wins hands down. Then there is the protection issue. back in the days you could risk terrorist attacks through mp3's. but not with DRM as now you can rest assure that whatever it is youre running was paid for to be confirmed by microsoft. That is a dedication to your OS that is unmatched...well there is nintendo, but even those guy shave relaxed as of late. So all in all, vista is more, thus its obviously better....Geeez what a buncha tards, this is obvious stuff!
