I Just love the Honda Element concept you know. Sorta like a covered pickup truck that very economical and efficient. I love the tailgate door and configurable seats. I was just wondering if anybody owns one and can tell me their experiences with it?

Thanks!!!
In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

As a reputed atheist, the reverential nature of his film was surprising, but Pasolini himself said &If you know that I am an unbeliever, then you know me better than I do myself. I may be an unbeliever, but I am an unbeliever who has a nostalgia for a belief.&

Its not about the looks dude its about the utility. Are you kidding a TVR or a Panoz ?!!!! Something breaks on that shit and where the HELL am I going get parts for it? An then how much are parts going to be? Anyways Hondas have variable valve timing that gives you power and fuel economy. There is nothing on the market like an Element its the most practical suv on the market. Great for going camping you could even sleep comfortably in it if worse comes to worse.

check this out from a company that makes a pop up tent for the Element

Once upon a time there was an ideal vehicle for the wanderer, and it wasn’t a tent or a massive RV. The classic VW Westfalia provided a compact design, perfect for the drive to work or a weekend at the lake. Pull in, pop the top and there was a home away from home, a base camp for swimming, surfing, hiking or biking. For over 50 years, Volkswagen delivered, but like many products, the VW Westfalia gradually crept up in price and down in availability. And then it was gone.

Not so many years later, Honda launched a mid-sized vehicle called the Element. With a design aimed at function over form, it lands somewhere between a van and an SUV. SUV sounds better, and in the brochure there's a bit about sleeping inside. It looks uncomfortable. On the bright side, it's a very useful design in many ways with power outlets, rubber floors that are easy to clean and a large flat floor space.

…"it reminds us a bit of a modern day VW Microbus. That, too, was cheap, funky, and very practical. But unlike the Microbus, the Element is safe, plenty powerful, heated and cooled inside, and it’ll start every day" - Click and Clack

This layout got our brains thinking that this particular vehicle might hold some hidden potential. As a small composites company with owners that are campers and engineers, it seemed like a great little concept to explore.

You should get the the new hybrid camrys, they look nice, economical, and pretty luxorious. Or even better, the Nissan Altima hybrids, sporty and gas efficient.
