RE: Bedini Monopole Energizer SSG
Hi Easy Skanking,

I don't know anything about electronics, but after reading your thread, i would like to ask you if you managed to avoid paying any electricity bills with your Bedini setup ?

That's not what the device is designed to do.
It is designed as a teaching device and proof of principle that demonstrates Tesla's "shuttle" circuit and charging and reconditioning of batteries by radiant energy.

I was asking you this because your reply to another poster:

Quote:With multiple (2+) banks and a nice switching circuit, what can you run with batteries? Pretty much anything that is DC powered. Get large enough batteries and an inverter and you can run AC devices from it. I'm sure there must be a limit, but from all of our experiments, online experiments and Bedini's experiments, I haven't seen the limit yet. Bedini has a large 10 coil motor with 2 large banks of batteries and he can run his lab from those. It's enough to power a house.

Does that mean you consider to power your house in the future with this, or did you just assemble it to test a theory ?

You could scale it up to power a house like the giant 10 coiler Bedini constructed and I referenced elsewhere in this thread. This device is very basic and simple in operation and function and not terribly efficient for those reasons. From what I've learned from it, I understand that there are other options and modifications and even other devices that might work better for the purposes of getting off grid. For it's intended purpose of demonstration and learning, it's right on mark.

Is there a particular reason why you don't go to this next step and get a reward out of your hard work which has been going on for the past 6 years ?

Alright.
Which other devices have you in mind ?

The big reason I don't get a larger system is $. Tough to experiment when you are only scraping by.

There's a number of devices on PESWiki in their top systems that look kinda promising.

Well, i have been lurking at this thread for many years, wondering if Bedini was legit, because it would be tough for someone to invest time and money in these devices and come up a cropper.

What is your estimation a Bedini device powering a house might cost ?
And which other device off Peswiki do you consider promising ?

RE: Bedini Monopole Energizer SSG
Here's an idea for bedini offgrid power. In short. Replace the standard fly wheel rotor with a modified fisher's paykel washing machine motor (which you can find anywhere on the side of the road not working freely). but instead applying it for wind, water, etc. Use the bedini multicoil design to produce enough electromagnetic force to replusively propel the F&P rotor accelerating enough RPM to gain the right generating frequency while keeping the battery charge/discharge cycle constant from the radiant spike. I guess to do that you would probably need; Strong grade neo magnets rating between 2000 to 5000 gauss, a holding force roughly about 5kg and up. Position the magnets around the rotors outer diameter the same way like any other monopole arrangement. Make sure the bearings a relatively free flowing from friction and cogging whichs essential to prevent vibration and heat build up within the shaft. Not to mentioned bedini's monopole energizer does not provide enough torque to do physical work, therefore, theoretically what i stated above should do the trick. With a good fast switching transistor and all, measure the impedance, resistance and inductance to fine tune the whole circuit. Go to ebay and buy a good cheap, 100 amp rated bridge rectifier, standard deep cycle long amp hour batteries or (optional) high rated farad ultracapacitors, kilowatt inverter and wire it all up to modified F&P motor. And there you have it, folks. You can most likely upgrade the design by adding solar panels, adruino circuits, voltage regulator, etc. that will be automated with longer run duration. all cheap and easy, much much cheaper than the 10 coil setup along with marine battery banks taking up too much room from EFTV Vid 2. IMO it is an overkill for an offgrid system. Smile
