Best Program for Torrent Seeding
I have alot of stuff I downloaded off various sources (a prominent one being the ConCen book flood) and was wondering what the best program is for creating torrents. Anything that provides me with a way to put adequate comments into the torrent file would be great.

I would say Utorrent, Azures was a good program pre Vuze days because it has alot info. But I am a minimalist so I suggest Utorrent.
In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

As a reputed atheist, the reverential nature of his film was surprising, but Pasolini himself said &If you know that I am an unbeliever, then you know me better than I do myself. I may be an unbeliever, but I am an unbeliever who has a nostalgia for a belief.&

My first recommendation would be utorrent 1.7.7. I don't like the newer version. Azureus, like Weyland said used to be good before it became Vuze. Now it sucks. I am just starting to experiment with Deluge. And I have been known to use ABC. But utorrent is clean and simple. You can add remarks easily at the point of creation. Add as many trackers as you want.

Although I am no expert with torrents, I do download my fair share of them. What I have noticed is that utorrent does not handle UDP's. It only handles HTTP. If you want one that can do both you would go with Vuze. I don't know of any other torrent client right now that does both other than Vuze. utorrent is supposed to in the near future from what I understand.

I always keep a few torrent clients on hand just in case I change my mind about something, I have a variety of them to pick from. But utorrent is my first choice always.

Here is a link for you. Slyck has always had good product reviews when it comes to all kinds of file sharing. Check it out and that may help as well.

Good luck

Thanks for the suggestions. I found maketorrent and after I figured out that it only runs on XP in 98/ME compatibility mode I was set. I suppose I can use deluge on linux as well.

A really sweet looking torrent program exclusively for Linux is called "Transmission". I would load Linux just to use that prog. Looks nice from what I can tell. Might be worth a try if you are running Linux
