In those photos he appears to be carrying a Ruger Mini 14 with a 12 gauge shotgun slung across his back. I think the .223 x 45 will punch through most body armor.

I thought Mini's were illegal in Canada?

His Facebook is that of your typical anti-government gun-nut conspiracy theorist, only with lame eye-rolling poetry. Typical Canucks. Try to be Americans, but always slightly miss the mark with some small weirdness that ruins it for them. Blush

In defence of cops in Canada, I would say the vast majority are not corrupt. There are asshole cops in parts of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, but the vast majority aren't thugs with badges like in the U.S.

Certainly they don't deserve to be randomly lured to an ambush and murdered like they were, don't you agree?

Apparently Bourque lured the RCMP to a spot and ambushed them from a distance. People saw and spoke to him after the incident and said that he did not threaten them at all. So it could be he's only a danger to cops. It's obvious he's not intending to kill himself (assuming he hasn't already).

A witness said he looked zoned out, walking and staring straight ahead as he ignored a bunch of people standing on the street.

If I was there, knew that he'd murdered 3 cops, and had a rifle, I would have shot him.

Now they're saying the whole neighbourhood is "on lockdown".

I saw an image of a heavily armoured RCMP truck with 3 "dishes" on it that looked like microwave weapons. Here is what they look like:

obviously he is not threat to the public. He probably has a score to settle with the pigs, the sad part is that they all look alike and we do not know who the assholes are. All of this is because the system does not clean up their assholes and instead has opted to keep them and do more harm. It does seem he is going after getting justice from an injustice done. He apparently is not crazy and knows who the enemy really is, and its not the public.

It turns out that what I thought were ADS systems were just open top hatches on a huge APC.

Looks like they got him alive in Centennial Park just west of the blockade.

This is interesting.

Rampage killers are common. These people specifically targeting government representatives are rare.

I believe they are increasing. In Austin we had Joe Stack.

Please keep us apprised of what they say about him Stiffy. I don't watch television. For some reason, this incident is not showing up in my RSS feeds.

And he accomplished the mission.... He was no threat to people. It does seem he went after having justice... doesn't it?

If his mission was killing innocent cops, then yes.

Cops are people too, even in Canada.

How is killing innocent people justice?

He did not go after people, he went after cops that do not behave like human beings and treat people, the public as none people... you go figure... something is really funny with the picture... he may not even be anti-government, but anti-injustice, anti-rogue policies, anti-mall treatment, anti-corruption, anti-beast behavior. granted two wrongs do not make it right, but it does seem like he was pissed with the cops. while cops beat innocent people all over america, canada certainly does it so well too, but who defends people, certainly cops are not there to defend people, they are there to fuk them over because they follow the masters plan even if it is wrong or against peoples good treatment... they will shoot you first, than ask questions later. And why do cops shoot first, in the first place. maybe because they have fuqed up too many people in too many times and they are afraid...it is by their own hand...how many instances has this happened? hundreds.... definitely there is something wrong and cops are not there to fix it, but make it worse... who is going to fix than?? this man who took the law into his own hands or the masters and cops??

what ever it is, certainly there is more than meets this scenario..

You can't have the experience of genocide as you are still here.
