Best way to convert .mobi to .pdf?
I've tried a few methods of doing this, and none seem to work too well.

The online services create margin-less eBooks that are sort of hard to read, and Calibre gives me huge text and other issues, but I'd think with proper settings it might work out the best.

So, does anyone know how I can do this right?

I don't know if this is the best way, but it has worked for me...

- Import the .mobi into Calibre

- Have Calibre convert the book to .htmlz format

- Save the .htmlz version to disk, then extract the zipped file to .html

- Pull the .html file into LibreOffice Writer and adjust the margins, etc. to what you want.

- Export the LibreOffice file out to .pdf

Convoluted, but it will work.
