So I go and visit http://www.omniconsumerproductscorporation.com/ and it's selling caffeinated soap.

So, if you would kindly provide some links or background behind your post, CharliePrime, it would be most appreciated.

RE: Enforcement Done 209 vs. 260
In the early 80's I was really into Cyberpunk. I'm looking forward to the RoboCop re-make.

The original RoboCop from 1987 was anti-authoritarian, and anti-corporate.

The 2014 remake seems to be offering that sentiment, but that could be a deception. It could be really Predictive Programming. Some of the writers are the same. I don't know.

1987
Director: Paul Verhoeven
Writers: Edward Neumeier, Michael Miner
Money men (Producers): Jon Davison, Stephen Lim, Edward Neumeier, Arne Schmidt, Phil Tippett.

2014
Director: José Padilha
Writers: Joshua Zetumer, Edward Neumeier, Michael Miner.
Money men (Producers): Marc Abraham, Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum, Bill Carraro, Brad Fischer.

"We can't overcome the Human element".

A considerable variation from the original plot.

When a re-make comes out, I always enjoy watching the original with my daughter afterwards. The variations are often interesting.

The 1987 Robocop was good for its time. I don't think I've seen 2 and 3. I'm acquiring them at the moment.

The original trilogy was fairly consistent I found, and not at all unenjoyable.
