A show trial for a petty offense for public relations reasons.

Head of the IMF Christine Lagarde in court charged with embezzlement and fraud

I wonder if her lapel pin has any occult significance.

"Lagarde faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in jail if found guilty of the very serious charges.

It was when she was President Nicolas Sarkozy’s finance minister that she is said to have authorised a 270 million pounds payout to one of his prominent supporters, so abusing her government position."

This could pave the way for more Asians on the IMF role call of senior officials. Christine Lagarde was not really head of the IMF, it isn't really org charted that way. (voting power of the executive)

Top positions on the senior officers board at the IMF are currently:
David Lipton, First Deputy Managing Director (US, CITI)
Naoyuki Shinohara Deputy Managing Director (Japan, Asian Development Bank)
Min Zhu Deputy Managing Director (China, People’s Bank of China)
Nemat Shafik, Deputy Managing Director (Egypt, the U.K., and the U.S)

Interesting to note that the US is the largest vote block and investor in the IMF but has no governor representing them. Not sure if this means that they abstain from voting on IMF matters. Germany, Japan, China, the UK and France have among the highest voting power of IMF investors/members but none of them has much more than 5% of the total IMF vote.

Thanks FTP. I'm for the most part ignorant of how the IMF actually works.

to continue on my breakdown of IMF power distribution upthread:

^look on this list to see the voting power as derived by the governors representing the countries; but the governors are mere puppets of whomever controls them and they are often public officials of the member country. Another obfuscation of a representative government. A farce of democratic representation (not that that is any answer really anyways), majority rules power leveraging and bloc voting with the appearance of distributed power to the people. A representation of 188:6,800,000,000 weighted by XDR investment wealth is hardly representative of the "will of the people", which is the legal obfuscation of human beings.

Should be interesting if the UN/IMF/World Bank is just a transitional monetary power conduit or if it is attempting to establish itself as a permanent structure to "save us" from financial collapse. The parts are all there but they can be easily moved to regional systems like BRICS, EURO, AFRICOM etc.. then reassembled under another world currency.. or it could be more corporate in nature. Plenty of flexibility in the manipulative monetary system. A version template isn't necessarily the concrete manifestation of the agenda. If it doesn't fall under IMF then a massive shift in economic power could result in short order as the game board changes in an instant.

I have noticed that a lot of shifting of market and commodity trading has shifted away from the US and is more dispersed now. More to London and an even greater flow of control in those markets shifting to East Asia. A primary factor in this is the intra-trading of BRICS countries - particular the RIC trading only in their own currencies.

Lagarde is french for "The Guard". She was put in place as a "changing of the guard" when DSK was told to step down via a fake social crime.
