This is my first time on concen. There are some very appealing topics here.
I arrived here as the result of a Google search and I registered. My search was for the book or the topic Paris - The Vatican against Europe. I found it as a pdf but it's offered as an ed2k file with which I'm unfamiliar. I studied up some and learned that an ed2k file is a file for private sharing. I downloaded aMule.app but I'm not sure what I'm doing and would like some help before I start going in the wrong direction. AMule v. 2.3.1 is for Mac and for my operating system OS X 10.4.11. It opens OK.
What I have is:
OS X 10.4.11
iBook G4 ppc
Browser Firefox v. 3.6.28 though I can also work on Safari 4.1.3
I am at the highest of all application versions due to the limitations of my iBook G4.
I'd appreciate any help I can get on working with ed2k files.
Thanks in advance,

Thanks stiffy.
(I started this reply on a different 'Reply' page where I also pressed the Thanks button, left the page, came back, and my text was gone. I don't know if the Thanks registered.)
Yes that's the link.
In the eD2k Link field at the bottom of aMule I pasted each line separately for two parts, hopefully no line breaks. For the 'connect button' I used the 'Commit' button on the right. The 'Paris' file moved to under 'File Name, There's been no movement indicating downloading and buttons don't get it started. Any clues? There's an instruction manual for a different version of amule which I'll check.
Thanks for sending me the pdf of the book. It opened in my browser. Do you have any idea of how to get it to appear as a standalone pdf separate from the browser? I ask because I'm able to convert that into a Word document where I can control font size and margins and make a more economical print version. I prefer reading hardcopy. If you're interested in the program that converts pdf to word, it's an online service made by Nitro at url <http://www.pdftoword.com/#>.
