CNN - Piers Morgan vs Larry Pratt - Gun laws "debate"

Why people continue to watch channels like CNN and their hired trolls is beyond reason.

Pratt owned his ass and all he could do was call names and talk shit.
Loved it!

Morgen is more and more pathetic with each passing day. It is a wonder how windbags like him are still attracting enough viewers to justify their show's existence.

Ventura is usually goofy, but he does a good job here.

Perhaps Piers Morgan is a false flag plant by Gun Owners of America to make gun hysterics look ridiculous? Smile

Lets be honest, none of Morgan's family were hurt in the unfortunate massacre so the level of emotion he is showing is completely out of place. He is either acting - getting things heated for the sake of the viewers, emotionally manipulating them to lend 'support' to banning guns or he has an intense level of empathy never before seen by any human being. I don't know Morgan's history, maybe someone close to him got shot in his past but I can't see this as being anything more than a clear display of psychopathy and an excellent example of altruistic narcissism.

Either way Morgan is a bitch.

Morgan vs. Pratt Part 2:

Pratt deftly avoided Morgan's appeals to emotion and slapped him in the face with facts.

This guy is good.

It's definitely interesting that the video features Beyonce, who's husband, rapper Jay-Z has some extremely violent lyrics, that have most likely influenced a lot of the gang related violence, which apparently accounts for the majority of gun related deaths.

She's also made songs about wanting a 'soldier' and loving guys with 'big ego's' which, even though she is a mainstream artist, is still going to have a big influence on those who follow 'ghetto' culture which interlinks with Jay-Z's nonsense because the likes of Jay-Z are what the males of ghetto culture will aspire to be as the females of ghetto culture 'want' something like that. Even though Jay-Z is a corporate sellout, he still cultivates that image of a street thug but now he has gone 'straight'.

By 'ghetto culture' I don't mean the legitimate struggle of poorer people but rather the commercialised/glorified side which finds expression in mainstream hip-hop, R&B etc. Most forms of popular entertainment are simply culture creation; a way to manage society and push through change, as I've gone through slightly here:

http://concen.org/forum/thread-35849-post-218925.html#pid218925

Beyond that level, when it hits the realm of politics, nothing gets debated about properly because (aside from politics being a sideshow) the people within politics are full of heavy bias and prejudice and will not allow common sense to take over as they do not want to concede anything to members of the other side of the political spectrum.

Essentially, the 'left' pretty much defends the lifestyles of those whom 'ghetto culture' pretends to represent; single parent families, promiscuity, welfare and debased artistic expression. Any attack on gun crime being predominantly arising from those protected by leftist politics are hardly going to be argued against by the 'progressive' left.

Having said that though, the right will pretty much jump on any concessions to further push their own prejudices and self-interests so on that very base political level nothing will ever get done BUT, as an attempt to manipulate society by those who are well aware of how to do so....well its just another example of the old dialectic to be honest.

What is annoying is how cynical people are in general yet they will lap up and repeat the messages of these celebrities who are - PAID ACTORS/PERFORMERS THAT MAKE A LIVING OFF OF PRETENDING - yet the moronic masses keep falling for this nonsense which is doubly ludicrous when it is the VERY PROFESSIONS THAT THESE CELEBRITIES REPRESENT THAT CONTRIBUTE THE MOST TO GUN CRIME. Then it is hijacked to usurp the rights of those who actually have a right to use such items and actually follow the law with regards to their use.

It is so funny yet so sad at the same time.
