This guy is a misanthropic right wing in disguise tool.

I like how he lumps sales tax, fed and state together, not to mention the way he goes about his exxon numbers is questionable at best.

Notice how he always seems to insult the populous, crap on the government, but seems to stray from saying anything opinionated about exxon, and he's from LA, with nice clothes... I bet his a trust-fund-a-farian.

This video is not up to your usual quality Mexika.

He also fails to mention the trillion+ in net profits that OPEC made last year alone. I should think that would be a major factor in the price of a gallon of gas. Take away the taxes, the inflation, the speculators, the outrageous profit margins enjoyed by both suppliers and distributors, and gas would probably cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 35 cents per gallon.

It varies from region to region. Whatever the case petrol costs a heck of lot less in Russia, China and the Middle East. I hear it's ~1.5 cents a litre for military personnel to fill up in Saudi Arabia. There is a huge profit to be made and this study shows that it is actually round trip trading by commodity brokers such as the ICE, who inflate the price globally (for the most part) and the rest of the supply/tax chain take whatever the market will bear and then some.

I hear that first world nations are also charged a hidden tax to the IMF, and/or one of its many tentacles, to fuel their wealth redistribution (loan sharking) fund.

Stealing OPEC Profits
How They're Taking a Piece OPEC's Trillion Dollar Profits

As if we didn't have enough anger towards OPEC, the trillion dollars they'll make this year from oil exports takes our ire to a whole new level.

Did we honestly expect OPEC to raise production?

With price hawks like Iran and Venezuela struggling to maintain output, it's not a hard case to make for them.

After all, oil is money – and in this case, a lot of money.

According to the EIA, oil export revenues for OPEC members could reach a trillion dollars this year, rising to $1.17 trillion in 2012.

Revenues last year totaled $778 billion, which was a 35% increase over 2009.

Perhaps their trillion-dollar racket shouldn't come as too much of a shock. After all, we've watched oil prices rise more than 200% within the last two and a half years:
