Question  Cure for psoriasis?
Hi boys and girls.
A female friend of mine is really suffering from bad psoriasis..
It's so bad that she has to take 1 shot to her belly once a week to keep it under control.
So I'm wondering if anyone here have any idea about what to do?
I would really appreciate if someone knows anything about this subject and perhaps could point me in the right direction.

Another subject that I'm very intersted in is bad bad allergy to eggs (7 year old girl who is so allergic to eggs that if someone ate one 3 hours ago and breathed her in her face, should would stop breathing within 3-4 minutes)
She's had 4 very close calls the last year alone..

Peace

BAKING SODA.... mixed with a bit of water to create a paste! Have her apply it to her spots. If she does it at night... she can sleep with the solution on. (the longer the application is applied, the better the effect.) Have her try it for at least three days in a row, if it's that severe. Let us know what happens. Ok

Make sure she exposes as much psoriasis as possible to the sun on good days, them UV rays sure do help and it is even provided as a treatment via UV lamp here in the UK at certain hospitals.

As far as something that may relieve the itching if it has gotten inflamed or it is just in that annoying stage of flaking, then I tried a cream called Dovobet (prescription)which worked very well indeed, but you have to use it 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off.
They also provided another cream called calcipotriol which was for the face and more sensitive areas.

If you are after a more holistic approach, then there are probably a few things out there for you, but the most soothing that I tried was a bath that I had steeped with oatsĀ¬!
Get an old clean sock/pair of tights,
Fill the foot bit up with porridge oats (nowt fancy just oats)
Tie the end so it does not come out and then once you have filled your bath, just place the sock with oats in for 10 minutes or so,
The water will go cloudy/milky looking and then just lay in it,
After 15 mins or so get out and pad dry as normal.

I hope this helps.

Best of luck to your friend.

Gary

Boiron makes a topical homeopathic Calendula remedy that has worked well for a bunch of my customers in the past, (Hyland brand hasn't worked for anyone.) If you'd rather make something yourself, just dry and crush Marigold blossoms (Calendula) and apply as a poultice.

this can be used in combination with the great ideas mentioned above. also, a high-potency fish-oil supplement may help. Its helped a lot of customers with auto-immune inflammatory responses, including lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Please bear in mind, though, I'm not a doctor.

as far as I'm aware, there's very little that can knock out allergies, other than systematic, progressive exposure to the allergen. This should only be done under the care of an experienced medical professional - as you know, these reactions can easily kill.
