Poll: Why did this launch fail?
The satellite would prove global warming to be bullshet.
Just a normal malfuction.

NASA Satellite Crashes Before Reaching Orbit

The sensible thing would be to rationalize to the world's needs, deweaponize, and gather up the garbage. Or is that obvious, and we don't do "obvious"? We do "dual-use"!:(

well id say if they were heading at each other at an 80 degree angle and noone could spot that in the days preceding i smell a fish or 3. They have systems in place for aircraft. I'd be crazy to imagine that they dont use a similar system in tracking sats and debris. Also what was this Russian sat doing in such a low earth orbit?

Sounds more like the missile WAS the satellite. It didn't have any propulsion on the satellite huh? that's the bit i don't believe. You dont have to fire a gun to put a satellite out of action. you could always just ram it.....

What they're waiting for is a collision which works like energetic neutrons in two pounds of U-235, and produces a "gas cloud" of unpredictable trash out of our irreplaceable satellite systems.
Is it worth a bet?

It's all discussed in the link I uploaded previously.

Interesting. this is a graph of the orbital times (how long it take to go around once)

It looks like an elliptical orbit with a slight gradual decay. just at the last few revs you can see the changes. IF that was a purposefull collision it was a bloody good shot. maths wizards....
