Latest Iowa Poll Has Ron Paul In First Place

Young voters and independents are key to Paul victory this week

Steve Watson, Infowars.com, January 2, 2011

A new two day tracking poll from Public Policy Polling finds that Ron Paul is still leading the race in Iowa just one day before voters take to the polls.

The race between Paul and Romney is still tight with Paul holding at 20 percent, according to the poll, and Romney at 19 percent.

The survey also finds that Rick Santorum is enjoying a late surge in popularity and currently stands at 18 percent. Newt Gingrich is at 14 percent, Rick Perry at 10 percent, and Michele Bachmann at 8 percent.

They are moving the counting process to a "secret location". Does anyone believe this means the counting will be fair?

If Iowans let them get away with this then they are nothing but a bunch of wimps who deserve their fate. Land of the free, home of the brave?

It's fucking impossible to counter vote fraud. All you can do is scream about it but it accomplishes nothing. The only effective strategy is to get enough votes that they can't steal it. You have to win by more than what will actually be counted. Messed up but that's the reality of government, it's an unaccountable monopoly of power. That's why 'new investigations' into things like 9/11 are a fallacy. I'm personally voting against government by voting for Ron Paul. If I could vote for getting rid of the whole government I would choose that over restoring the Constitution, and actually so would Ron Paul apparently.

While i like a lot of what Paul has to say about liberty and would prefer him over the other reality show contestants, i do not think he is the solution, the great white hope or the saviour.
The Ron Paul crowd are beginning to look like the Obamabots, totally uncritical in their support and glorification of their leader.

How come he didn't show up to vote against Obama's National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) ?
What about quotes like this:
Quote:"There’s nothing to fear from Globalism, free trade and a single worldwide currency."
-- Ron Paul, Congressional Record, March 13, 2001

What about his ties to the Christian Reconstructionists and the Neo-Confederate underground?

Say he would win and dismantled the welfare state, abolished anti-discrimination laws and civil rights laws, dismantled separation of church and state, then what? Back to the feudal society? Back to the plantation system?
Who would be on top then?
His fraternity brothers at Lambda Chi Alpha?

Just asking some questions, just because someone says "end the fed" doesn't mean he is the saviour...

Many have stated before on here that should he win then it can only mean another form of controlled opposition. No way the NWO or whatever you want to name the bunch of so called elite (they are as elite or superior as shit) would allow someone to throw a major spanner in the works unless it will benefit them. So I guess we will just have to see. Would love him to win and see him really pull US out of all the illegal wars and not wage any new ones. Time will tell.

I would also like see him win, if nothing else just to see what happens, i don't think at all he is a bad person. But just like with Obama in 2008 people seems to project their own wishes on him of what he is about.
And in the end i don't think it matters who is the spokesperson, sorry i meant president.
What is positive if he makes a good election is that it possibly would bring the subject of liberty back into the mainstream debate and discussion and people might actually start to think about it. That would be the real change.
And would the "elite" really oppose him? Many of his ideas and ideals such as cutting down public health, reducing the social safety nets, privatization of state-owned industries and resources goes hand in hand with what the IMF imposes on poor countries seeking to qualify for their loans.
