BBC 10 years of 9/11 conspiracy theories

RE: BBC 10 years of 9/11 conspiracy theories
Has JazzRoc broken the rules? If yes, which one? If yes, I say punish him. If no, I say leave him alone, Admins. It should be about enforcing forum rules, not about who writes whiny messages to the Admins.

To the person who complained about JazzRoc, shame on you. You should go fuck yourself.

Admins are forced to read, and sometimes reply to members' posts. We will ban anyone who repeatedly trolls this site, and will make no apologies for doing so, or threatening to do so.

JazzRoc has been making a few posts lately which we deemed to be trolling. While we won't ban someone for occasionally going over the line, we will nip trolling trends in the bud. After all this is a forum to exchange views, not wade through pages of pissing contests, isn't it?

I agree totally, this thread is becoming more like a technical manual on aeronautics. But its not just jazzroc that is posting endless streams of woffle, its those who are feeding and challenging his ego. Hopefully he isnt been picked out because he has a more mainstream view of this?

Wiki definition of trolling:
Quote:In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response

I think jazzroc has far too much time on his hands, and I certainly wouldnt want to get stuck in a lift with him, but I cant see that hes going off topic (see above) ...far from it, hes like a bloody pitbull at an arse sniffing contest. For those who like the nth degree of detail on such matters its likely very stimulating and thought provoking to them. Not me personally though.Barf

Remember you are unique

Well, one thing is for sure, not much changed in 10 years. Countries are being bombed into democracy, media keeps lying and people are too busy to wake up. I hate this status quo.

That made me laugh. I cannot disagree with it either.

But I am forced to be that way to counter (what I at least perceive to be) wrong-headedness brought about by lack of clarity.
You may notice that I rarely interject in threads which are outside my professional expertise, and am normally arguing with people who are outside of it.
I have been continually smeared, misidentified, accused of running some agenda, and astroturfed, whilst the great majority of my reasoning has been ignored, and not debated. Some hypocrisy is evident above.

I was helped early in my career by people who knew more than I did. If I had behaved the way some people behave here, my knowledge wouldn't have advanced at all.
It wasn't a particularly "successful" career. (If I had wanted to be really successful I would not involved myself within a country which was dismantling its engineering industry - the UK - when anywhere in the Pacific Ring (where most of our tools went) was crying out for my sort of work. But I was raising a young family where they needed to be raised, and helping my wife to obtain slightly better qualifications than my own, and that was good enough for me.) But it was a busy and varied one, with work for around sixty companies under my belt, and a lot of experience from civil to aeronautical engineering, modelmaking, full-size work, CAD, and calculation work.

Thanks, Hans. Smile

Not much has changed at all. The Nazis made ALL governments wake up and adopt stronger (not better) forms of govt. They are ALL more nazi now.
Diplomacy has always been "war by other means" and governments have always lied. It's human nature, apparently. (Shrugs)
I hate the S Q too, but it's a fruitless activity.
We all must be patient, never expect to see much in the way of change, and culturally instil in our society better child-rearing and education*, which will offer the best resistance and defense against our basically feral impulses.
Rapid change would be a cure that killed the patient.

*Legislation limiting the teaching of religion to those that have reached adulthood springs to mind. Children banned from churches. Priests prosecuted for interfering with children mentally or physically. Religious books to be classified as FICTION. Obvious things like that will help clear away confusion.

His trolling/posting ratio is low, but was increasing. Now it is not. Blame us admins if you want - we're used to it...

Yes... We never shall expect too see much will change on its own. We need to invoke feral impulses inside ourselves and others, and then change will surely follow. We must shake the foundations of this civilization, its belief structures, and civil society itself. I understand your view, and completely agree with the need to demystify old scaremongering and commandments. At same time we must never forget only we can change the world, nobody else will do it for us.

It surely will.

Of course, SOMEONE'S feral impulses will be realized. But will they be YOURS?

When the whole place is up for grabs, I'd shoot you if I saw you. I'd see you as responsible.

All that violence breeds is VIOLENCE. How did you miss this?
