Information  Call for Action :: DNA Day - Online Public Debate / Q&A with Experts April 15th, 2011
Let's Talk DNA
Date: April 15th
Location: Your Computer
Invited: Any and All

Live online chat event with the rare opportunity to pose tough questions to the DNA pluggers and trans-humanism shills. This looks to aimed at children and teens as well embedding Harry Potter and the more aged of us in incorporating gardening. We paid for it with Education grants may as well go and ask a few imploring questions to keep it balanced.

Maybe ask them questions about the DNA databases for new births, how they get much of their stem cells from abortions, how the terahertz body scanners and cell phone radiation may wreak havoc on human DNA and the patenting of life forms like crops, cows and humans. I'm sure you can come up with something

Rarely do these shills do an open media consult and stick their neck out. Feel free to come to the party if only to listen but the audience may be interested in what the ConCen crowd has to say on the subject of Genetic engineering and DNA in general.

It's very public and this is your chance for a soapbox - the kids will be listening (forced by indoctrination/education system) so let's inject some critical thinking ConCen style so it's not just another whitewash brainwash presentation.

Genetics 101

What the heck is a double helix anyway and when is a genetic mutation a good thing? These are some of the questions Dr. Gijs van Rooijen will be on hand to answer.

Genetics in Society

For a few hundred dollars you can get a commercial genetic test but what do you do with the results? Professor Tim Caulfield will give you honest answers to tough questions about the often-controversial issues surrounding genetics.

Genetics on the Cutting Edge

Is genetic therapy a reality? What does it take to sequence the genome of an entire organism and how did that technology uncover the genome of Neanderthals? Dr. Derrick Rancourt will take your questions about the fact, fiction and future of genetic research.

Genetics and Discovery

Jay Ingram is well known as host of the Daily Planet on the Discovery Channel and as an advocate for science education and science journalism. He'll bring his passion for science to this chat room and leave you wanting to learn more and wondering why science often finds itself living in the back rooms of Canadian culture.

Yes science is fun, genetics could even be comprable to next-gen animal husbandry on some levels but Pandora's Box may contain a point of no return as already proven by the exploits of Monsanto and Bayer Crop Science on Canola and Soy here in Canada, the United States and abroad.
