L'homme de Rio - Scène - 1964 - Belmondo - De Broca

One of the earliest and best of all the James Bond spoofs. Belmondo used to do most of his own stunts, just like Steve McQueen. English subtitled version DVD available here:

Cul-de-sac - Roman Polanski - (1965) - Full Movie

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDthgq8VW80

Described by Polanski himself as his best film, Cul-de-sac draws heavily on the traditions of the Theatre of the Absurd and echoes of Beckett's Waiting for Godot in both its themes and visual style. A wounded criminal and his dying partner take refuge at a beachfront castle. The owners of the castle, a meek Englishman and his willful French wife, are initially the unwilling hosts to the criminals. Quickly, however, the relationships between the criminal, the wife, and the Englishman begin to shift in humorous and bizarre fashion.

CHROME AND HOT LEATHER 1971 - A biker gang, the Wizards, terrorizes and kills two girls. One of the girls was the fiancé to an Army Sergeant who returns home from the Vietnam war and calls on several of his Green Beret buddies to help him take revenge on the biker gang. Singer Marvin Gaye's first and only starring role was in this biker flick. He plays one of the soldiers who go undercover as 'outlaw bikers' to try and get revenge on the Wizards.

Last warning Negentropic quit jacking threads with tons of pictures and embeds.

They are not threads you have started and everyone got by just fine describing the movie without post multiple clips and a swath of promo posters.

For more information refer our email/PMs. three total embeds/photos per post, not three of each. No exceptions. No substitutions.

Also see http://concen.org/forum/thread-15910-post-252165.html#pid252165 5 media items.. I'm asking nicely one last time, after I had reconsidered post ban.

RE: What is the best movie u have seen lately?
I heard a host on Oracle Broadcasting rant a bit about the TV series "The Walking Dead." The broadcaster was bashing the show… it's level of desensitizing violence, etc. The very next day, a guy at my boyfriend's shop said, "hey… I think you and april would love the walking dead series." So we decided to check it out.
I was reluctant at first… he and I both knew nothing about it.

This is the short version of the IMDB storyline:
Quote:Police officer Rick Grimes leads a group of survivors in a world overrun by zombies.

We both found the series to be better then any "hollywood-ish" film we'd seen in years! (We've both not watched television for 12.5 years) For entertainment purposes only…. if viewed with "ConCen" eyes… this series, I think a bunch of you would highly enjoy… if you haven't already been following it. Some of you on the other hand, may hate it… but I'll take my chances with your criticism.

Another mod here is waiting till the series ends to start watching it, and has asked for no spoilers to be relinquished… so try to refrain if you can. Grin Season 4 starts back up in February… so it's perfect timing to get caught up now, if you haven't yet…. and if you're in the mood for a good survival/apocalyptic/zombie flick.

*Can't believe I'm recommending a TV series.... but I am. Laugh

It's a great TV show. Icon_biggrin
I'm pretty sure its been mentioned here before, although I'm not sure, I'm surprised its not something others here would be into.
I'm a huge fan of the comic series, my Dad kind of got me into comics as a kid and I'm not that much into all the comic book genres I used to be into, but that series is one of the best in a long time.
The comics are still going strong and getting more and more popular as a result of the show, being one of the highest rated shows on TV that's understandable. I don't think the TV series will end anytime soon so I don't see any point in waiting for the end of the series to watch it. The creator of the comics says he'd like to continue the series indefinitely. I'm sure the TV network would like to do the same if the longevity of the comics holds through to the show.
The comics are much more graphic than the show, so in a sense its actually less violent on TV then in the books. The show doesn't completely follow the books either so reading the comics won't necessarily spoil the show. But there are some plot points and story arcs that are similar. Characters are based on the comics but there are a few that are exclusive to the show.

Interesting thing to note, the title of the show has a double meaning. It is not necessarily meant to refer to the zombies, as most people assume, but more so the group of survivors.

ASSAULT ON WALL STREET (2013)

Story: Blue-collar guy gets screwed by Wall Street, so he shoots banksters.

Pretty crappy movie but the last part where he shoots banksters was enjoyable and worth the download.

IMDB rating 6.0

Fast-forward to 1 hour, 10 minutes. That's where he gets going.

The Host ( 2013 )
This is a surprisingly good movie for bordering on being a "chick flick".
The plot is that alien beings invade earth to promote peace and eliminate the ravishing of natural resources.
They do this by taking over human beings bodies which is somewhat reminiscent of the 70's movie Invasion of the body snatchers.
The main character attempts suicide in order to save her little brother but fails and her body is taken over.
What follows is an intriguing storyline of two souls trapped in one body, one streetwise and one naive, both with missions which are diametrically opposed.

We recently saw the movie "Sinister" …… it's a Horror-Mystery-Thriller

The flick was pretty decent if you're in the mood for something scary. [Image: scared0016.gif]

That one was indeed pretty good. Not the usual ghost/monster chasing people. This one had actual suspense and creepiness.

RE: What is the best movie u have seen lately?
The last good movie I saw was a few weeks ago and was called "Imaginaerum". I started watching it with some sense I had heard of it before. The plot unfolds about a man lost in his childhood memories in a coma as he fights dementia to regain memories of his daughter. I kept noticing the music was really good...I mean like heavy good. Then a major scene starts playing and there are double kick drums and chunky prog metal guitars start playing and I'm thinking: "Damn, this is REALLY good music!" So then I notice the musicians in this warped mental scene are actually the metal band Nightwish!

Good story, excellent production and acting and most of all a badass soundtrack make this one to see.

Worth a mention, though technically a documentary, is called "Reincarnated". That is the documentary about Snoop Dog's pilgrimage to Jamacia and his transformation into Snoop Lion. I gain some real respect for Snoop in this as he attempts to leave the gangsta past behind and embraces Jah Love. This has appearances by Damian Marley and Bunny Wailer...and some lovely herb plants as well. Smile

I rather enjoyed Iron Man 3. It's the first movie I've seen in a theater since December. Which is kind of unusual for me.

Wow... and interesting. Think the last movie I saw in theaters was "Finding Nemo"... back in 2003. Grin *Just noting...
