or alternatively just quit your job as a government disinformant. The mental downsides aren't worth the little extra money...

as for the topic: I told you already: if you see no danger and no chemtrails, this is the wrong thread for you. Probably the wrong forum, since we're talking conspiracy...

I'm an anarchist and see every conspiracy as a blow against human freedom. If they're TRUE...

FALSE conspiracies are a DOUBLE WHAMMIE, for they distract from "eternal vigilance" a proportion of that energy, at the same time as harming social stability by slandering innocents and adding and using FEAR - a well-understood technique for weakening rationality.
"Chemtrails", "9-11", "Big Pharma", "fluoride", "intelligent design", "religion", are all FALSE, based as they are on ignorance, bigotry, paranoia - and FEAR. It's your scientific understanding that is lacking. Your misunderstanding of physical causes and effects leads you to "fill in the gaps" of your understanding with scientific impossibilities. It's plainly visible to ANYONE with a modicum of science education.

Defendfreedom, I've been watching these things for...oh about 15 years. They're entirely man made. I've watched the sky go from absolute blue to a gray haze with that magic 'rainbow' affect around the sun and it wasn't clouds or nature that caused it. I've seen "U" turns 3 times. Oh yea.....the pilot forgot his keys! I just keep yelling to them, "Quit fucking with MY SKY!" But they don't listen Dodgy

Carnicom was one of the first sites to study these.

It's not the 'whether', but the 'why' I'm unsure of. Perhaps weather modification, perhaps mass inoculation, perhaps something more sinister. Perhaps climate control to prop up the 'warmers' argument. Only the fed knows for sure. But weather modification has been on the agenda for some 20 years now. Airforce2025 told us all we need to know about their intentions. US Code Title 50 informed us they're free to poison us if they wish.

The 3 stages of truth - try to keep that in mind.

Persistent contrails ("chemtrails" to you) were observed as early as October 1918.

Yet they remained a rare phenomenon which excited relatively little interest across the 1920s and 1930s, despite developments that steadily raised the operational ceiling of military aircraft. These early months of the air war also spawned what may be the first published account of persistent contrails ("chemtrails") in air combat.

The Battle for France and Saint-Exupery’s Train of Frozen Stars
At the time Germany invaded France, French aviation pioneer and famed author Antoine Saint-Exupery was just short of his fortieth birthday, well past the age when men were considered fit for air combat duties. Given his age, his literary achievements, and health problems caused by earlier aircraft accidents, Saint-Exupery was not expected to volunteer for combat duty and could easily have honorably avoided it. However, he believed France was in grave danger and that all Frenchmen who could were obliged to come to her defense.
True to his convictions, Saint-Exupery managed to secure an assignment flying reconnaissance planes, specifically, the Potez 63. Such an assignment was a serious challenge for a man of his age and physical condition due to the difficulties and discomforts associated with flying in the cold cockpits of high altitude aircraft.
Saint-Exupery survived his combat missions against the Germans and escaped to the United States after France surrendered, settling into New York in January 1941. Here, he wrote about his wartime service and worked to build support for the war against Nazi Germany. After the United States captured North Africa, Saint-Exupery was allowed to sail aboard an American transport to Oran, Algeria. He then secured permission from French authorities to rejoin his old French reconnaissance unit, Group 2 of the 33d Reconnaissance Wing, and began flying combat missions after being retrained to fly the unit’s aircraft. Shortly after he rejoined the 2/33, it was transferred to Colonel Elliott Roosevelt’s 3rd Photo Group, which flew the reconnaissance version of the P-38. By this time, Saint-Exupery was over forty-two years old, and regulations established thirty as the maximum age for pilots in Roosevelt’s unit. Only through the intercession of a high-ranking French general with General Dwight Eisenhower’s headquarters was this age requirement waived for Saint-Exupery. After being trained in the American P-38, he flew this aircraft on reconnaissance missions out of North Africa beginning in July 1943, continuing until he was killed during a mission on July 31, 1944.
In February 1942, while still living in New York, Saint-Exupery had published Flight to Arras, a memoir of his service against Nazi Germany in 1939 and 1940. Here, he described the challenges of his high altitude reconnaissance missions: the cold that could freeze the controls of his aircraft, finding and photographing enemy targets under fire, and the anxiety of knowing his plane was tailing a white streamer that pinpointed his position for enemy fighters and gunners.
Regarding this last challenge, Saint-Exupery wrote:

“The German on the ground knows us by the pearly white scarf which every plane flying at high altitude trails behind like a bridal veil. The disturbance created by our meteoric flight crystallizes the watery vapor in the atmosphere. We unwind behind us a cirrus of icicles. If the atmospheric conditions are favorable to the formation of clouds, our wake will thicken bit by bit and become an evening cloud over the countryside. The fighters are guided towards us by their radio, by the bursts on the ground, and by the ostentatious luxury of our white scarf… The fact is, I have absolutely no idea whether or not we are being pursued, and whether from the ground they can or cannot see us trailed by the collection of gossamer threads we sport. Gossamer threads set me daydreaming again. An image comes into my mind which for the moment seems to me enchanting. “… As inaccessible as a woman of exceeding beauty, we follow our destiny, drawing slowly behind us our train of frozen stars.”

You never do answer this JazzRock, Im sure most of us know that persistent contrails are possible from ordinary aircraft but what of the high levels of alumnium found in their wake? There are areas far away from industry whose 'background' levels of aluminium were suddenly on the rise after daily views of 'persistent contrails'. I have watched many times in many different areas and even continents, aircraft (which are not passenger planes) criss-crossing the sky on an almst daily basis. How do you explain these points?
But yes I fully agree the control system does employ many methods to induce fear as this makes their job much easier. I dont think you are a professional disinfo agent, just a person who thinks he can explain everything away as being 'normal'.

There are high levels of aluminum found everywhere.

Eight percent of the Earth's crust is aluminum by weight. That means that you will find that eight percent of DUST in general is ALSO aluminum. The dirt that you sweep up from your yard is eight percent aluminum.

It is everywhere. It is in the air. Volcanoes produce aluminum silicate dusts. The acid rains produced by transport and industry dissolve aluminum out of the exposed rock of mountain ranges, and so you will find it dissolved in rivers, lakes and groundwater as aluminum sulfate.

You should have been educated enough to be aware of this.

Chemtrail supporters stand out as uneducated people. It's a pity their disinformation damages our society. Chemtrails are a destructive meme, rather like religion, but without religion's mitigating comforts.

There are around 80,000 daily overflights of US airspace, and the stratosphere has an average speed of 50 mph in some direction or other, so it is quite likely you will see a contrail. Or in your case, a "chemtrail". Such trails are produced by the cold temperatures at cruise altitude, and a certain level of saturation by water vapor in the same air. The atmosphere can increase the trail density ten-thousandfold. Aircraft producing dense trails are actually DRYING the stratosphere they are flying through, as the trail is HEAVY, and falls as a wet snow, effectively removing tens of thousands of tons of water per single continental flight. When the trail reaches the much warmer troposphere beneath, they evaporate. But all that water has been taken from the one "sphere" to the other...

Aircraft seven miles up cannot easily be identified, as the intervening water vapor scatters blue light BETWEEN you and the aircraft, obscuring all detail except its outline (and sometimes even THAT). This will happen as trail density is increased. So, aircraft making no trail will be less obscured. And vice versa.

That's very kind of you, but actually I have relevant experience here, having worked on gas turbine design while undertaking a student apprenticeship in aeronautical engineering at the National Gas Turbine Establishment, Pyestock, Hants, UK, way back in the sixties.

I am not "explaining away" anything. I am giving you the benefit of my experience. It may be too difficult for you to contemplate this, knowing as little as you do.

"Control system"? What do you know about "control systems"? You know nothing about the sky above you! Please don't suck.
