TriWooX Wrote:In the Iron Man films, with Robert Downey Junior in the eponymous role based on the Marvel Comics character, a power suit allows the wearer virtually unlimited strength and the ability to fly
But that's FANTASY.
Reality is managed by "accountants", which are the laws of physics.
Only nuclear energy would be sufficient for the suit's endurance, and the CONTAINMENT of the radiation would involve considerable distance, and therefore be TOO BIG FOR THE SUIT.
The alternative may be kerosine, but there isn't sufficient volume in the suit for any endurance. The inevitable production of heat would be a great problem. Heat is a byproduct of ALL energetic processes.
ALSO, there are NO materials that physically resist armor-piercing rounds. Period.
However free-ranging android robot warriors are a distinct possibility. They have less heat problems and far fewer morality problems, and no issues at all with remaining alive.
They'll happen.
That will be nice.
