RE: Default theme may discourage new users
"quick theme" -- yeah I guess that means "change the color on the screen" or not?

Again I wouldn't have known what "quick theme" meant unless this issue hadn't already been raised.

Thank God someone started this thread.

Still "quick theme" was written in black on gray which means I couldn't have found it anyway even if I knew what to look for.

Nobody can see it nor know what it means unless they're some techie type!

Again I totally respect the freedom to have a website that no one can read due to the default colors on the screen.

Still I did change the "quick theme" whatever that means.

Thanks for keeping this website secret -- let's hope the CIA Google spies don't find it due to the stealth "quick theme."

I gave you an avatar which I feel is appropriate. Feel free to change it...

RE: Default theme may discourage new users
Yeah I was just reading

http://viewzone2.com/endtime2xx.html

Then I noticed how EASY it was to read that site -- a very popular site btw.

That reminded me of this site -- concen -- and how hard it is to read this site. With the inevitable results.

Still I'm all for staying under the radar.

RE: Default theme may discourage new users
Ha -- lower right of your screen there's a window that gives you the different colors for the "default" setting.

Congratulations on surviving the NEW concen default "self-selection" process to the secret society.

Wow you're right -- now the "quick theme" has disappeared!

I guess I got "grandfathered in" -- no more new readers of concen. haha.

RE: Default theme may discourage new users
Updated the default theme to the "default theme" (white and blue). It's now set to default. I had a lot of complaints from users I was directing to the site that had problems reading the text in the forum.

An SEO guy also told me it would be more inviting to new users to have it more generic you can still modify your theme if you are registered under the settings in your User CP under Edit Options > Other Options (bottom right) > Board Style (drop down list).

If you have your theme set to default (which was either coder green or blue force) you'll notice it has changed.
Registered users' current theme settings that were set to a theme explicitly are unaffected and unchanged.
There are no others, there is only us.
