What's Changed Locally for you in the Past 10-20 Years?
What has changed for you locally in the past few decades? I'd like to establish a ground level comparison for commonalities that we may have been ignorant to because of our wider perspective mentality when it comes to NWO enslavement or simply cultural evolution. We inject little bits here and there but no dedicated threads here on the subject. + A previous thread was getting a bit off-topic.

Quote:Is that the reason why many Canadian tourists have the canadian flag on their backpacks? Always thought that to be funny, seemed they are afraid they would be mistaken for "Americans". Divided and ruled it seems to be. When I hear of Canada, I usually think of beautiful lush nature, really would want to go some day! I heard there are lots of Chinese people in Toronto, love all cities with a China Town, YUMMY!!!

You'd be bang on about the nature, I live pretty close to the Rockies in Alberta. Jasper National Park (AB) and the Okanagan (BC) and Northern Alberta boreal forests / lakes were my old stomping grounds. The pine beetle has put a dent in the forest serious but not as bad as Al Gore / Greenpeace is saying. The oil sands are using up a sooo much water and we're shipping a lot of the water down south and bottling a lot of it for export. The land is being seriously gang raped and sold out to foreigners right now but there really is so much of it we don't notice it so much right now. There are different factions of Canada - Toronto is a different animal, it strives to be hip and trendy and plenty of immigration gather there because of the segregated micro-communities like Chinatown.

In my region, Edmonton, we've recently had a Mousque built in Mill Woods as icosaface can probably attest to and there has been a small Chinatown but the overall municipal identity is still basically intact. People from Alberta are not all rednecks or cowboys but a large contingent of us do work blue collar slave jobs. Yes we love hockey but less now than ever - because of other distractions - namely video games and some of the harder drugs which have made a noticeable surge lately. Edmonton also boasts the river valley - the largest urban forest in the world. Great place if you don't mind winter. And I often feel like I'm the only Canadian under 40 that doesn't smoke weed or get sh*tfaced at least once a week - so there is no lack of bender action if that's what you're into.

Let me know if any of y'all are ever in town - maybe we can head down and throw empty bottles at Ctrl while we are at it - if he's still around them parts - anyone keep in touch with that guy?
There are no others, there is only us.

Loved hiking in the Alberta Rockies.

And the (very large!) animals, such as bear, moose, and mountain ram would come right into the cities ...

... in broad daylight. Yikes

One hopes that hasn't changed ... Smile
