The Rapture
I kind of like the Idea of all the goodies getting swept away. Then I'm left with all riff raff in the real life Mad Max Thunderdome. I hope to Tina Turner gets taken away though.

Quote:BTW you would be surprised how much people beliefs are changed in subtle small ways due to peer debate. Just because your beliefs never change doesn't mean ours don't...
okay, that may be true, or it may not, I based my claims on what i've seen and experienced. Personally I haven't seen the slightest change with the people I talk.

As for myself, I changed my whole view about Christianity since I came here. at 1-st I was like any other believer (which is not necesarily bad) but in time i discovered the narrow way.
Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Sometimes you don't notice your own changes of thought because they take place in such small increments. Recently I noticed that I've changed quite a bit and its probably due to hanging out on sites like this one with heavy or at least vocal conservatives. I was reading some diaries on DailyKos and thinking about writing a piece on how the GOP should split into two parties, the NeoCons and the PaleoCons and how these two groups differ so greatly on such a huge number of issues... then it struck me that people over there would most likely be shocked and appalled at BOTH sides of the conservative issues in question and it drove home how conservative in some ways my thinking has become (without me even noticing) because it was not that long ago that I'd have been shocked at such thinking myself.
