i really need to know, cause i'm pretty dumb in this regard, but how could i save a flash object that plays a movie, if that makes any sense
this is what i mean, the film at this link

i want to know to save other flash embeds too and i'd be much appreciated?
also, is there a way to convert some of them to a video format that can be put on dvd-r discs?

Well, flash movie files, like any other movie files (except for proper streams I think) all go into your temporary internet files folder (assuming you are using MS Windows and Internet Explorer) -

C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

or even quicker -

%userprofile%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

You need to sort the list by size, look for large *.FLV files for Flash Video, or *.WMV for Windows Media, etc etc etc.

Easiest approach is to delete your temporary internet files from within Internet Explorer, then load up the web page, then scan through this folder.

You can drag the files you want out to your desktop, then do whatever you want with them - convert, play, save for future etc.
