This is Realtek's logo. Right off the bat it's obvious what's going on, but on top of that the letter M is the 13th letter of the alphabet.

I don't get it. Can you explain it with a few more words?

Here's a direct quote from their site.

Quote:Through strength, persistence, and adaptability, Realtek follows in the spirit of the crab.
:eyebrow:

Thanks for reminding me to check them out. They've got some updated drivers for me...

BTW the realtek onboard sound and ethernet are on 80% of new computers manufactured now. They've got someone helping them out.

They make 8channel HD audio now. AC-3 mixed right out of the board, plug it in to your home theater with an optical cable. Mine's got optical in and out. They still make the ac97 for the low end boards.

I did have a little BSOD problem in my favorite game traced back to it. I plugged in an old SB live! and it works fine.

He's trying to say that there's something to this realtek symbol, but I'm not seeing it.

One thing I'm not figuring out is what RMC means. That is what the symbol appears to say but that doesn't mean anything in the company name or anywhere else that I can find.

According to their site this is the company name. "Realtek Semiconductor Corp" Maybe the symbol is from an old name like Realtek Manufacturing Corp.

Crraaaabb People, Craaaabe People....Look like crab...act like people....
Do you really think your a higher form of life? You...With your dripping jaws, and your bloodshot eyes. You...With your varicosities and your vermin for an appendix. You...with your hemroids and assterioids. Often I wake up at night and ponder these matters. And then I feel very strongly that I should talk them over with Brother Theodore...and then, and then I wake up fully and remember that I am Brother Theodore. And my heart aches. And my tears flow. And I see my Aunt Marie floating in the chicken soup...more dead than alive...more naked than not. And oh, now I see a mailman, a mailman giving birth to a dog of all things!

Never a moments peace, never a moments peace...never a moments peace.

This is from the about realtek section of their homepage. Does anyone have any insight into this crab symbolism?

I don't get stoned. As for the image, now that I have been told it's a crab, it does not look much like a crab. Here's what I still see: Two arms in the air with fingers doing the Baphomet thing. Below is an M, representing 13, just like in the McDonald's logo.

You know, if I were sent to hell for eternity and the only way out was to identify that logo as a crab, I would be there a long time. Well, at the least, I wouldn't have any confidence in my answer.

I heard that the McDonalds arches are the horns of ares. They are a symbol of sexual fertility and supposedly mcdonalds uses that symbolic power for marketing.

You think that crab and McDonalds are suspicious? Check out the symbolism in this joystick profiler that I just installed...

Lol, McDonalds. Note at your local one if their flag flies higher than the U.S. one.

Yeah that's a pretty good one since it's so out of place.

in the tarot, the crab represents a creature who can live on both land and in water, the water symbolising the underworld.

"The crab is a creature that is at home in both on land and in the water, like a creature that is not entirely real not entire unreal, but something that rises from out subconsiousness into our day world as feelings that cannot be ignored."
