Salvia Divinorum
I recently had a wicked trip on Salvia and considered to be a very confusing experience. I'd like to try it a few dozen more times before I make any concrete evaluations of it.

I'm curious has anyone in the forum used it? Did you like it? Do you think it should be made illegal? I'm just really confused by it and would like to hear some thoughts.

This ones for you Easy Skanking

All I can say was it had me in Super Mario world for a couple minutes...

Not I. :barf:

Hallucinogens never really were my cup of tea. I've read a little about Salvia Divinorum and saw it sold in head shops in Dallas, but never had the urge to try it. Chocolate mesc was the only one that I might try again....I don't even like shrooms. I'll just sick to my pot and rolls.;)

Some more info is available here: http://www.erowid.org/
There's also some good info on the tracker about Salvia as well as most other drugs.

I did so much of it once, somewhat accidentily that I went into probably the highest level of hallucenation you can get from it - there's like levels according to salvia websites I've seen like 1 to 7. It's a good thing to do in order to get a better understanding of the universe but I would also say use caution & don't do too much. It can be pretty weird.

Make sure you don't asphyxiate trying to inhale. That's the the biggest problem I noticed. You gotta pull really hard but once it kicks in; your in for a nice short trip.

One thing I did notice is it made me feel like my tongue was huge in the back of my throat. I thought the trip was pretty cool but for about ten to twenty minutes afterward my skin felt crawly and prickly and I sweat balls.

Good stuff though; and better placement than off-topic chit chat

It's best to use a full size bong w/water in it & one of those special lighters which I forget the name of it now. But not the regular kind. & you wanna hold in the smoke for at least 10 seconds. Be careful too though, you might wanna not take such a massive size bong hit just a regular one.

You can get at least 20x strength salvia. You could buy it online. I tried it along with some 'home-grown'. It was interesting, but the subject I was watching -Transformers cartoons would you believe? Was incredibly dull, it was kinda like doing shrooms but i saw the proceeding frames of the animation superimposed over the current frame 'onion-skin' style. The primary colours were enhanced, and i felt as if my 'centre' was in a different place in my body, I only smoked it as you do weed and yeh it is a 'choker' - annoying as i 'go up' i started worrying about how much is wasted by the coughing smoke going all up.
Errm what else, if you think of an emotional/mental conflict you have before taking it, whether its a reaction to someone giving you a funny look a few hours back or your relationships with other people or something you are afraid of, i found that salvia will make me confront it over and over. Salvia is not a bad thing in my experience, but really more therapeutic than pleasant.

Ah yes. I was using this for a few months when I was forced to have my urine tested bi weekly by the gestapo. I have gotten to levels on this that only smoking pure dmt have blown past.

There actually is a 30x extract that I have seen.

It takes you out. Really out if you smoke too much. I get the sweaty thing too. It happens so fast that you really can't understand the trip until you do it about ten times. Then you start to notice a pattern. The trip is really controlled by your subconscious I think. I've seen some weird stuff on it for sure.

Smoke it while it's legal.

I have never in any of my trips, including the strongest salvia one where literally reality split & I was in between dimensions, have I ever encountered any kind of midget or alien or anything like that. I kind of wonder if people exagerate that shit sometimes.

Whatever you think of salvia, please notice that making it illegal would just make the price skyrocket and give more money to drug cops. So far it's not making anyone rich, so I doubt it would be made illegal anytime soon.
